How to fix could not initialize Photoshop scratch disks are full

This is a simple tutorial if you get a pop-up box stating that it: Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disksĀ are full.

Watch the video to learn how to solve this little annoing problem. Mine happened because for some reason after upgrading to latest Creative Cloud Photoshop version of 2019 it got like this.

Solutions:

  1. Just delete your Temp files. Start RUN, then type %temp% and hit Enter.
  2. Start Photoshop while holdingĀ  CTRL+ALT(PC) / CMD+OPTION(Mac) as soon as Photoshop starts to get the menu to select your Scratch disk
  3. Create a separate disk partition for your Photoshop Scratch disk.
